CLASS DESCRIPTION
This class is designed to introduce participants to the exciting and invigorating sport of stand up paddleboarding. Participants will learn the basics of balance, paddling technique, and maneuvering while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the water. This class is perfect for beginners who want to learn a new skill while also enjoying a low-impact workout.
Class Format:
The class will begin with a brief introduction to the equipment and safety guidelines. Participants will then be led through a series of warm-up exercises to prepare the body for the physical demands of paddleboarding. The instructor will provide demonstrations and guidance on proper paddling technique and board control.
Participants will then take to the water for a guided tour of the surrounding area, with the instructor offering tips and encouragement throughout the experience. There will be opportunities for rest breaks, as well as time to practice skills and techniques.

Prerequisites:
No prior experience is necessary, but participants must be comfortable in and around water. Participants should be in good physical condition, able to stand and balance on a board for an extended period of time, and able to paddle at a moderate intensity for short distances.
